This model was more of a struggle to build than it should have been, I just happened to get one of these Eduard kits that had some QC problems such as warped and broken parts, the rest of the kit that had undamaged parts went together well.

On to the pics...

Wow! Congratulations, your 110 is one of the most nice I ever seen, and I have many articles in diverses magazine. I like the figures, and your finished is really good. However your plane have an awesome scheme.

Don't think that replacement rudder got past me, either

As ever, Les, a joy to behold.

Thanks Pablo1965 and Ian!

Ian,
This 110 had a long service and was delivered in the normal 71/02/65 colors and later on during a major overhaul the aircraft was repainted in the 74/75 gray colors, for some reason the rudders were not repainted and remained in the earlier colors, it is not known if the rudders were masked off or maybe removed at the time the paint job took place.

I am finishing the Tamiya Me 262 now, after that I will be building a classic kit...a 1962 Monogram Zero.

Just superb, Matirx, and as usual!!!
Amazingly realistic and life-life figure as well.
Jaw-droppingly fine mottling on the nose, but inspiring and encouraging as well as it's proof that mottling of this high order is actually possible. If you can do then so can we, but we'll just need more time and practice.

Thanks dumaniac and Allan!

The Me 262 is close to being finished, most of the small bits are glued on and later today it will get its flat clear coat.

I am really looking forward to that old Monogram kit!
