Chevaliers Du Ciel (or I remember it as "The Aeronughts").  The whole 1st tv series ( ), in French ().

Any I recommend part 1 of episode 13 - bit of 'air to air' and a the bad guy is flying a T33 in camo with a 'Shark Mouth'.  Just like being 11 again or was I even younger when I used to watch this in the school holidays...
