Just had the Canadian Display team (Branta canadensis) fly over head in a V-shaped formation, about fifty of them and what a wonderful sight it was too.

Were they doing it with red, white and blue smoke?  ;D
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

No smoke but there was the odd honked, must of been the order to drop back and reform from the Leader.  ;D

This morning, another squadron flew over our place  The were rather striking with their white main color and their black wing tips.

Think they have a private landing zone by my work.  The STOL performance is sometimes a little lacking but the water landings are spectacular.

On a side note used to love watching the Rut Zulus perform in their F-5s at Big Sky Day.

It's neat to see a big flock at low altitude...the sounds of their wings is beating the air is pretty cool.
