Wanted: Malta Gladiator markings, 1:72

I'm finishing off a stalled build, and I have found that the transfers from the recent release of the Airfix Gloster Gladiator are truly appalling. They're about half an inch thick (I exaggerate, but not by much!), and just will not stick to the model at all. If anyone has a spare set of 1:72 markings for any of the Maltese Gladiators (Faith, Hope or Charity) that are NOT from the Airfix kit, they would be very much appreciated. I can offer payment or a swap for bits/other decals if I have what you're looking for.

I have some "Gladiator markings" decal sheets, but not SPECIFICALLY the Malta Gladiators. As you may know, there was no particular aircraft designated as "Faith", "Hope", or "Charity" but the serial numbers were from the N 5518-5535 range. Christopher Shore's "Malta-the Hurricane Years" has good explanations of the Malta Gladiators (and I used this reference repeatedly for my "Globrey Blordiator" tribute whif).

I have two sets of the same "Gladiator markings" from which you could GLEAN a proper "Malta" serial number (mixing up the given numbers). Some of the Malta squadron's call letters are also possible to "mix" from them. I THINK they are "ABT" or "Stoppel" decals, though they are not marked as such. You are welcome to them, and I can send them in a standard letter so it would be cheap. Lemme know.

If the Airfix Gladiator decal sheet had the specific squadron codes you wanted, let me know and I may be able to provide those, too, from other sheets I have.

I am also in the market for these markings (Malta GB on Britmodeler starts in March).  Was led to the Airfix kit but if they won't work...

Philp: I don't know about other issues, but avoid the most recent one (in the grey box). They're awful IMO. Almost like stickers, they're so thick.

I have the decals from the Encore Gladiator. Kit says its from 615 Squadron Code RR-T but no serial numbers.

Any use ?
