Is there something about C-17s that we don't know???

I wonder why the Whiff versions have folding tails, I can see the point of the folding wing tips and the vectored engines, but a folding tail?
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Ummm, I think it's just showing the transition between the "future" aircraft and the actual C-17.

considering the crap shown on tv here, they could broadcast those ads in series & get better ratings ....

       recent news-item announced that Australian soldiers will get  :o solar-powered night-vision goggles !!  :o





            guess they meant the batteries would be re-charged by solar-cells  ;D
you may as well all give up -- the truth is much stranger than fiction.

  It ties in very closely as far as graphics with the look of the "Transformers" movies, which have lots of C-17's, tilt rotors and Raptors. Almost looks like Michael Bay did that ad.

At least they're still flying proper planes. Damn cool proper planes, that is. Going by their recruitment ad, the Republic of China now fights in Transformers - in the air, on land, on sea! CLICKY!

Always love those USAF recruiting ads, my favorite is the one that's set on an alien planet with USAF Spec Ops being led to a target by some sort of advanced UAV.

Guys, that USAF Ad gave me a Feeling of a Kinda 'Thunderbirds' twist as that Rescue Team went about it's work! kinda like a Cross between Thunderbirds and Star Trek the Next Generation! might be some Great Ideas for WHIFS and Dios! Stay Cool. Dan
