Tintin, alternatives:

Presumptions:   The core Tintin stories stay the same, but the background sub plots are a bit more complex, for instance, Khemed has a rival in which they are actively engaged and Herge devotes a few frames to that story.

The what:
Tamiya's P-47D Razorback sporting underwing 60 lb rockets off  Monogram's Hawker Typhoon.
Steyer 1500/01 Kommandeurwagen properly outfitted for an overland journey.  Perhaps a Dodge WC-53 outfitted as an early Technical.
Pushing it quite a bit:    Tamiya round nosed Dinah.

Ideas?

PS:VVVVVVVVVV, that's a great Draken below too.    There's a Revell one buried away somewhere in Ye Olde Stash.

Personally, I have always wondered how the Syldavia/Borduria story moves along. Does Borduria fall further into the Soviet sphere of influence, or do they remain nominally independent, like Tito's Yugoslavia? And how about Syldavia -- future member of NATO, passive independence like Austria, or Swiss/Swedish well-armed neutrality?

Some time ago I did this profile:

and somewhere buried on my HD I have the FS2004 Alphasim/UKMIL Jaguar painted in Syldavian markings as well...

Poor planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part...

Must, then, my projects bend to the iron yoke of a mechanical system? Is my soaring spirit to be chained down to the snail's pace of matter?

Considering Khemed is a state known chiefly for Oil, how about the US supplies them with some hardware down the line? I have a B-26K Counter Invader set aside for this, just need to get my hands on some of the Blue Rider Khemed Mosquito decals.

With Khemed using Spits, Mosquitos and Daimler Armoured Cars, I'd say Hunters, Jaguars, Chieftains and Scimitars wouldn't look out of place!

ive built a Syldavian La-5FN some time ago, and in due time im hoping to get started on that Khemed Mosquito aand spitfire.
ive also build a Khemedi Su-25 in 1/144 some time ago, got a few pre-build 1/144 SU-35/37 just screaming out for Khemed markings in desert camo  ;D

i was planning on getting a MIG-15 some time ago and paint it in Bordurian markings (like the one i saw in the 70's animated movie)

I loved your Calculus sub, Nils, and I can't wait to see your Mossie!

Well, I think I'll still do the Counter Invader ;-) Mainly because I don't have any spare Mosquito kits.
