Couldn't stay long, so I only grabbed quick pics of the what ifs that were sprinkled around. Some of them will make Alvis smile maniacally!

A well thought out 262/shark.

Say 'Chris Wren' to most people and they will think of the architect of such places as St. Paul's Cathedral, but say it to an aircraft nut from my era and we will think of the legendary aviation cartoonist who brought many a chuckle to our faces. This model was inspired by one of his gems.

Cute little piece, quite creative IMHO.

Nice variation on a Horten

What could have been...

Don't know what this is, but it's cool!

I have a love/hate relationship with this model. It is very nicely done, and since we haven't got any yet it's still technically a what if. But I wish we were getting something else (F-15SE would be nice!). Oh well, here it is anyway.

I assume the AVRO Project Y is a scratchbuild.  Very well done.
All hail the God of Frustration!!!

The 'Wrenoir' BV-141 is totaly BRILL!
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Greg,

at first I thought that it could be a modified Fantastic Plastic resin kit http://www.fantastic-plastic.com/AvroProjectYCatalogPage.htm, but I believe you're right - the canopy looks different, there are some other detail and shape differences besides the internal detail, and it looks larger than 1/72.

Would be marching to the beat of his own drum, if he didn't detest marching to any drumbeat at all so much.

Chris Wren is smiling down on that BV-141 from somewhere.

The Horten is super slick too - perhaps a Red Skull pilot-figure??

NARSES2

Some nice stuff there, thanks for posting
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Lot of talent on display!  thanks for the pics!
