Hello all....been away for a while fitting into a new job....anyhoo....I thought I'd start the CSAR unit I was banging on about......but in 1/144 scale first....

This is the Westland/Kamov 50 Hokum in RAF service....an escort for the CSAR helo I will be doing next...no major changes to the airframe,in this scale anyway, other than weapon choice...I did try n fashion a retractable IFR probe.....the weapons are a triple Brimstone launcher,80mm rocket pod,a home made four round AAM launcher like a beefy Stinger/Mistral and a fuel tank.....the kit is the Revell 1/144 offering...and what a spanking little kit it is......for £4.50.....!!!! Hope you like......oh,Chrisonord....naval Hind I was working on...still being worked on...... ;)

Very nice H,
I have been a fair bit preoccupied myself, rebuilding one of my motorbikes and repainting it. I have 2 helicopters just finished, that have taken me a while to do also. Anyway, get that sea hind finished  ;D

Brilliant stuff Hank.  I wouldn't have even believed they were 144th kits!

Must, then, my projects bend to the iron yoke of a mechanical system? Is my soaring spirit to be chained down to the snail's pace of matter?

All hail the God of Frustration!!!

There's something really wrong with your eyes if you can build 1/144 that well

Well done mate
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

The shark mouths just look so right on those beasts. If I saw those two making runs on the LZ, I think I'd use the old "discretion is the better part of valor" saw and choose to fight another day.
