The Gallaudet designs reminded me of the WWI SPAD design where the prop was between the pilot and gunner, I suppose that was really a standard tractor type with a gun pulpit placed to the front of it to enable a clearer field of fire prior to interupter gears
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.
