Thank you all for your generous comments. I'll post more pictures once it's finished. I now have another mad idea about tackling a a twin  FUSELAGE VC-10!!  That was an an actual proposal by the way!

ps - wouldn't it be nice if Airfix did a VC-10 in a PROPER scale!!  ;D - like 1/72?  ;D. I don't personally like 1/144 but, needs must!! My next project is a R R Trent engined C-5 Galaxy. Work to begin soon! In case you're wondering, I'm using the old Otaki kit! The engines were salvaged from my Revell Airbus A-380  which lost an argument with  Kizzy the model mangler - my beautiful pet cat :banghead: :banghead:
Loves JMNs but could never eat a whole one!!

Harmonious indeed...
Maybe the airflow would disagree about such a layout but I am not an airflow ;)

Knowing the prices that the extinct (nearly) Otaki kit fetches on Ebay (as much as 500$ and over in a few occasions for one still in shrinkwrap), your use of one on a whifferino should make some kit collector's heads explode ! ! ! Of course that happens even when one gets opened and assembled as a stock C5A

;D Why do you think I'm doing it!!! The one I'm using was re boxed by Yodel & I only paid £26.55 for it.I've never been quite able to wrap my brain around the notion of buying a kit with no intention of building same!!  ;D

To right Paul, but it takes all sorts to keep the world spinning and it does mean with have an archive of kits produced over the years. Bit like the seed bank being established at Kew
