F-105/ F-106 bash

Howdy Folks,
   This one has been on my mind for awhile. I had the 105 from 10 years back. I recently got the 106 for %40 off at Hobby Lobby, so it's off to the races. So far, I've cut the intakes out of the Dart and installed them in the 105. It's all downhill from here.

It's a nice start, and very interesting shapes in which the profile is concerned, I am waiting the next step.

I really need to invest in some tinfoil hats...

I've been toying with a F-105/F106 bash for some time, though I want to keep the distinctive Thud intakes, the end result would be something like a souped up uber-Draken.

Be sure to get the thick guage foil or it won't work.

I was going to the the same thing, but I deemed mating the Thud intakes to the Delta's wing to be too time consuming for what I wanted. I still have all the parts from the Thud and they may end up on another build.

Looks cool, so you also now have the makings of a swept wing tailed F-106 hybrid too

Things are moving forward at a steady pace. I've decided to go with a TF-30 powerplant and added a Tomcat gun to replace the one from the Thud. The nose is half and half from both aircraft. More progress very soon.
