That looks like an outstanding show, some very class stuff there.

What about the 'Matchbox BD-5' though? Was that a spoof model kit box with some sprues from the LS kit painted red inside? The box art is exactly the same as the LS kit, but a different size.

I haven't seen that kit in detail, but it was on a stand filled with 'vintage kits'. So probably no spoof.

I had a look in my PAK-20 book and there's no listing in the Matchbox section, but that doesn't mean the book is right as I've found a few missing kits and errors. But to be fair, there are three or four appendice books out now which has corrections and additions, but I don't have these yet.

Did you noticed a box kit number for the Bede Harro ?

I can't see a kit number on the photos. Didn't look too closely when I was there.

Steve: if you're interested in coming over next year, you'd be most welcome. There were a couple of British groups this year (Sussex, and the aerobatic display team SIG). Let me know if I can help; I intend to have a stand at the show with what-if, cancelled projects and prototypes.

Great photos.....I've just suggested IPMS Stafford could have a visit next year.....went to the Irish Nationals this year where the Guinness was 5 Euros a pint!!

If not Stafford then I'll try to persuade "Biggles" to come along lol
