 That's very nice, and I like the way you did the 85Sqn markings,
a bit more original than my take on Sqn markings for a Vixen
as here:

The British have raised their security level from "Miffed" to "Peeved". Soon though, security levels may be raised yet again to "Irritated" or even "A Bit Cross". Londoners have not been "A Bit Cross" since the Blitz in 1940 when tea supplies ran out for three weeks

Hi Keith

I still like your's very much though!  ;D I knew when I started that I didn't want to just do dark grey/dark green over light grey. I love RAF aircraft, but am a little tired of that camouflage. It was nearly an all-over light grey 'Ghost-Vixen' but I decided to keep one toe in reality at least. Markings are chopped up Matchbox Gloster Meteor NF.11 ones, which is were some of the inspiration started I suppose. Which kit did you use by the way, it looks very clean neat build, my is the old Eastern Express clone of the FROG mould of course.
Oh to be whiffing again :-(

Its funny you should ask, Mine was from the Revell of Germany 1/72 (which is the old FROG mould). ;D
So much the same really!

Here's one I did earlier - http://www.whatifmodelers.com/index.php/topic,21077.msg299164.html#msg299164.  I don't know why but I never took any 'proper' pictures of it.

Was intended to be an 'interim' version pending creation of a tandem version, which as you've probably guessed has never been built and I think never will be.  My FAW.2 is destined to be de-whiffed next year and painted up as an Fleet Air Arm Sea Vixen 'wozzer'.   ;D ;D

Hi Kitbasher

It looks good, and despite what I said about the dark grey/dark green/light grey camouflage ..... I LIKE IT  ;D  I'm still wondering what an all over light grey 'Ghost Vixen' might look like?

And to Kit (PR19) I meant to respond earlier ....being at Farnborough when the DH 110 crashed, words fail me, it's one of those moments that I should think most of us on here are aware of
