Just seen these on modelhobbies.co.uk new in are 3 different versions of the Hughes MD 500, one being the NOTAR version and another one on a set of floats. Not a clue as to what they are like to build, but will look for a review.

One of the SIG guys had one at Telford, maybe NARSES2 or OGL? It looked pretty good to my eyes.

[Sorry, OGL = Martin_H)
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

Model hobbies have them in stock joe, I dare say it will be for the float equiped version they do. I want a NOTAR version, and have it armed and stationed aboard a Honduras Patrol boat.

Wasn't me, I've no idea what you are talking about  :banghead:
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

I have been building the NOTAR version of the MD500, and I have to admit it is an awkward bugger to build. Ignore the instructions to begin with as the fuselage and the doors need a lot of work doing to them to get them to fit even remotely right, the sprues leave a lot of plastic behind on all the parts, and the doors/fuselage are no exception. I am hoping to have it finished soon, but I am taking my time with this one as it will never look right when done.
