Well the title says India and Pakistan, but in reality, it's much more.

Australia was called on by India to support it in a war over Australian enriched uranium which was alledgedly put into the construction of nuclear weapons. After a partially successful coup, Pakistani forces stormed the Indian borders in late April 2016, with a RAAF component arriving in early May.

Without support from the US, with Vice-President Paul acting as President while President Romney held a conference in Indonesia, Australia and India were soon abandoned by the UK, who was acting in the favour of the US government. This meant that Australian aid and force had to be increased, detracting from contingents in Afghanistan and on home soil, bringing numbers to about 14,000 by June 1st. 16 Hornets of 77 Squadron were brought in at the end of their service life, with pilots of both 75 and 77 Squadron flying them. Some Hornets were "zapped" with 75 Squadron insignia. The prowess of Australian pilots in the outdated fighters was commended by the Indians, with Australian Hornets shooting down 7 PAF aircraft, for the loss of one Hornet, though to ground fire.

C-130, C-17 and C-27s also participated in air-drops, and the C-27s particularly in close troop drops. Supers of 1 & 6 Squadron were in the thick of the action with the fighter support.
