Bristol Bakil used by the Isthmus of the Red Sea Independent Protectorate.     Essentially a Bristol Buckmaster modified for ground/sea attack as Shiek Bab el Ehr had gained power and threatened the whole of the Gulf of Aden and Red Sea.      And yes, it was not a Buckingham.

Sir Peter....here's your sequel, you model airplane buff you.

As you can see, it's pretty heavily dominated by British, American, and German types (fairly evenly split, too), but with notable Soviet and Japanese examples.  Interestingly, I have every single fighter (and many bombers) up until the He 219 powered by the Merlin.  It was a fantastic engine.

Merlin powered 219  ;D I think I have a 219in the stash.

I actually planned for the He 219 to have R-2800s.  Everything before that was Merlins, though.  I would probably have used some naval aircraft from my other list in the air force, though.

Cheers,

Logan
