All of a sudden I'm doing the Weston Show tomorrow, maybe all on my own too!

My 'local' club, the Cardiff Plastic Aeroplane Club, has a couple of tables booked and our Secretary has been called away, so he passed the job on to me as I'm the nearest. Now normally I can NEVER display any of my Whiffs on a CPAC stand as he gets psychotic about them, but is it EVER going to be different tomorrow!  ;) :lol: ;D

I'm going to plonk a few in there, in the middle of the RW stuff, and see how many get spotted. And how many don't..........  ;)
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

No, although they do have a model show there sometimes. It's on the other side of the main entry road to Weston. I just hope I can find the place.......  ;D

Been years since I was there. Last time was back in 1979 so it has probibly changed a lot since then

any pics Kit? i did try to convince my yongest brother to attend but didnt get hold of him by phone till after12.

Piccies below. Most of the stuff there is mine, one of our other members brought along five of his models and I managed to get five of my Whiffs amongst there too., I'm sure you can spot them. ;D

Later on I had to put my 'standard' XFY-1 Pogo to the left of the AC-119K as people kept assuming the Osprey to its right was a re-painted Pogo!

was that the meteor PR19's first time at that show?

It was the PR19's first at the Weston Show and only its second appearance on ANY CPAC stand! The first time I showed it, maybe 15 years ago, our Boss Man said 'What is THAT?????'  ;D

It got a good result at Weston though, some guy came by and said 'Is that a copy of that Meteor PR19 that's all over the Internet?' and I replied that it wasn't, it was the REAL PR19!  ;D He was blown away finding I'd made it and we chatted for about 10 mins about the way its story had spread across the world.
