The Morvalongan Police is a para-military force similar to the Italian Gendarmerie.  To improve security in outlying areas they have taken delivery of the Fuqa-Woluf FW 489 Adler.  The aircraft was specially developed to a specification laid down by Bishop Moses Besquit (God Bless Him) for a light aircraft capable of carrying out observation, light strike, light transport and utility roles operating from rough airstrips.  The result is a two seat COIN aircraft armed with 3 x 20mm cannon in the nose, 2 under fuselage hard points for bombs or other stores up to 1,000lb, 2 hard points under each wing for rocket pods or similar.  The booms contain flare and chaff dispensers.  The fuselage also houses a nose mounted infra red and Thermal imaging suite of avionics.  The rear fuselage may carry 4 paratroops, 6 infantry or a similar weight of stores.

The model is made from an OV-10 Bronco fuselage mated to an Airfix FW 189 wing and tail assembly with a fair amount of filler and spares.

I've had the OV-10 bits for ages.  They were given to me with a number of complete kits years ago and sat around in a box.  The FW 189 was bought in a sale so that I could repair a badly damaged one that I already had.  Thus I had a fuselage of one plane and the wings etc of another.  It seemed obvious that they should not be wasted!

Well that is a crackerjack li8ttle aircraft. Cute back story too.

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Good job.  I've always had a soft spot for the 189.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.
