That Cherbourg harbor is UNREAL... And Akagi in 144th scale it looks like. That locomotive...

I think these guys have discovered the modelmaking equivalents of Steroids.

Im betting the rail heads on here will spot it.

Better believe it!  :o

British Rail didn't exist in 1944, it was formed in 1947, and the double arrow logo didn't arrive till 1965. Not only that, the loco is a Drewry Class 04, which wasn't available until 1950 or so.

Does that make the whole diorama a Whiff?  ;D
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Does a Canuck who left Blighty in '62 (and never was into trains) get a point for at least noticing the logo was probably wrong?  ;D

I like the soldiers slaving on the Kubelwagen when a whole host of replacement parts sit on the VW Beetle so very close by.

Even if it is True ;D

I don't know the term "Scouser", but if is like 'Scrounger": an obtainer of parts from area unspoken of, I'm guilty of that too.  I wanted to build a Kubble (Thing) body for my VW 'Bug" so I could trade back and forth for summer and winter driving. Both done up in Reich markings just because!
