Hi Bernie
Yes, I use shotgun pellets too and am running low so might have to toddle off to the gun shop to replenish my stocks and face a funny look from the bloke behind the counter
are you coming to Canberra next month for our annual comp and what shall we do about the video?

Hi Bernie:

I did add some fishing weights but I do not have any of the small buck shot so I could not get enough in to make it nose heavy.

Use aquahere or superglue - if you use plastic glue, you can get deformation in the outer skin.

I've used similar techniques but with very small fishing weights and PVA glue, see my Canberra MR23 thread for a demo piccie.

The small fishing weights go by a funny name here in UK, something like 'gravel' or 'dust' but I can't remember the exact name. I know they looked at me sideways in the local fishing shop when I walked in there with a 3/4 built Canberra in my hand.........  ;D
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Kit

Looks cute and fast!

"Kolibri", the German word for "hummingbird", was already used (appropriately enough) for their little Flettner Fl 282 helicopter.

In German, the common "Swift" is "Mauersegler", if that might be a good name for it!

Agreed. Hummingbird is misleading. I was thinking small but sequoiaranger's Mauersegler is more appropriate.
