Who is Martin Withers ?

Aaaggghhhh!  :banghead:

The most famous Vulcan pilot of all time, after maybe Roly Falk.

I have a print of a Vulcan at low level over a North Sea oil rig signed by him, and the guy who sold it to me didn't know who he was either. (And I didn't tell him........  ;) ;D)
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Regards
Kit

I wouldn't of known until I saw the Channel 4 ? Documentary on the Black Buck raid the other week.

That photo of the Buccaneer under the cloudy sky is a fantasticaly "moody" photo
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Mossie

I spotted him, but the beard caught me a little off guard.
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

lancer

I recognised the name from reading Vulcan 607.

I agree with Chirs about the Bucc shots, very very atmospheric... I'm assuming SB1 due to the smaller intakes...yes?
