Thought people here might like this. 

I set out to make something bold, high-viz and using a small palette of colours.

When conceiving this for Aussierama, I wanted not just to make a plane with some Oz roundels and stuff, but to place it in an only-in-Australia context, hence all the references to real Australian people, events and places etc along with the fictional. I wanted it to be culturally Australian and to explain the detail.
