Weekend! Lovely!
I wonder on what what I shall squander these days? Car washing, general tidying up and mending stuff someone (who did not confess) broke, when checking in with the better half, apparently. Ah, well..  :banghead:

Being a naughty boy, I snuck off for a bit, drilling and glueing steel pin pitots on an Italeri Gripen, an old Airfix Super Hunter (a Swedish fighter/interceptor this time), and that Danish Hun that's been looking at me for completion for too long. And, lo and behold, I found a leftover Hasegawa 71N IRST lying around! Deciding the J35A will have to do with the already installed Heller IRST, I attached the Hasegawa one on the J35B, thereby effectively readying them both for painting.
Lastly but not leastly, I avenged the lost Delta Dagger by nicking yet another Hasegawa Draken off the local Evilbay variant, and in the process, the same seller had a HobbyBoss twoseat A-10 Night Hawg that will share the trip. The Draken, an Imavoimat/Finnish Air Force issue, wasn't that cheap, but the Hawg was indeed, so given the split freight cost, not a bad deal after all. And while on Finnish Drakens, theres apparently a nice book covering Ilmavoimat Drakens. I can't seem to find any avaiable, however.

@perttime : You have any ideas?

In the meantime -  I'd better get out to that car now..

Not really....
The one place that says it is available is asking for outrageous money for it.

That was ridiculous money. But I do really appreciate your effort.

i dont know if there is an equivalent outside the UK
But here in the UK there is a system call inter library loans, that will ( for a small fee) check with other UK library and get the book for you on long term loan,   If they have to they get the copy thats stored in the British Library for you too use.
may be worth a try for you

When I did that the book came from Trinity College, Dublin. Wasn't allowed to take it out of the library either, had to read it there and then.

As nice an idea that is, reference material is for keeps. In particular considering my normal construction process.

Well, I'll keep my eyes peeled at the antiquaries. Sooner or later, one might get undeservably lucky.  ;)
