the question is would i scale it down to look right, ( if so i dought it could carry anything) or would i leave it at full case size and have it as a massive over hang?   And do i want to go any where near scratch building 009?

take off and nuke the site form orbit, nope, time for the real thing, CAM and gridfire, call special circumstances.

for this, id have to say id be following in my father in laws footsteps, his 009 layout is designed to wind up the rivet counters, a lot of the stock if uniqe in one way or the outher, his 00 is less moded but on his DMU its been changed to resemble the one running at Dean preserved line, with the refeshment stand on it.

Ha, I know it well!  :lol:

The line runs about 1/2 mile from my house and crosses the main street of the town with a man powered level crossing! I've had more than a few 'coffee and cakes' in that DMU.  ;D
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

if you got them in the last few years from the Lady and Gent team Kit, you've probably met my in laws, It seems that my mum in laws rock buns are amazingly popular,  though i prefer the choclate stuff she does on occasion.

The last time was in late February this year! I'll try the rock buns instead of the fruit cake next time,
