This has got to be a long shot, but I am looking for a Revell 1/144 KC-10. I believe it to be fairly rare or at least thin on the ground but I thought why not have the rest of the guys keep a look out for me.

I do intend to whiff the kit, plans have been kept to only a few people so that it doesn't spoil the surprise when I build the kit.

Hopefully some one will find one and let me know about it before I draw my pension which is still a good ten years away at least.

I would settle for the refuelling boom and other associated parts from a Revell KC-10 or even a detail/conversion set if such a thing is/was available.

I'm darned if I can recall any detail sets for the DC10/KC-10 Alastair, apart from resin engines etc. and you won't need them.

The tanker bits wouldn't be too hard to scratchbuild actually, I've got a scan of the instruction sheet and some pics of the real thing if that'd be of any help?
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Thank you Kit if you could send me them that would allow me to use the more plentiful Airfix kit as a possible basis for my build rather than the more difficult Revell DC-10 and the dam near impossible to find Revell KC-10.
