I remember looking at the earliest pictures of the XF3H-1 and it was a really beautiful aircraft design.  As time went on the nose was reshaped and while it wasn't as awesome, it still looked good -- the fuselage was deepened slightly and it was kind of plumped up; then by the F3H-2 stage they added a nice big wing which was cool.

I have some questions
1: What was the fuel capacity of the XF3H-1 (initial); the F3H-1N; and the F3H-2N/M?
2: Why was the F3H not fitted with a J57 instead of a J71.  I've heard two explanations so far and I'm unsure which is right

  • There was such a high demand for J57's that they could not get them
  • It would have required excessive re-design
...
Either way, my WHIF Demon idea would be a design with the baseline fuselage of the XF3H-1, the nose of the F3H-1, the wings of the F3H-2, and a J57 in it.

Look good?
That being said, I'd like to remind everybody in a manner reminiscent of the SNL bit on Julian Assange, that no matter how I die: It was murder (even if there was a suicide note or a video of me peacefully dying in my sleep); should I be framed for a criminal offense or disappear, you know to blame.
