I believe repaint costs for specials comes out of the units own contingency budget. Although permission to go ahead is needed from at least HQ Air Command. (what was Strike command).
Budget reasons was why we only saw one complete repaint on the Harrier retirement.
I always hope for the best.
Unfortunately,
experience has taught me to expect the worst.

Size (of the stash) matters.

IPMS (UK) What if? SIG Leader.

Ah yes, that Hawk is 100 Sqdn. and their 'Airborne Cigar' Lancs were painted in camo over black, so it is true to type.

It's missing the socking great aerials on the dorsal spine and under the nose though........  ;D
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

I agree that it's marked up as a WWII bomber (and it's growing on me the more I see it), but where do the "95-Y" codes come from?
Oh to be whiffing again :-(

I bet it's because the Sqdn. is 95 years old...........
