Very nice! Is this a what-if? Or did the USMC really use Skyhawks?

I have not found anywhere that this camouflage was used by the USMC, the only type of camouflage on airplanes Singapore

USMC stayed with the Skyhawk while the Navy moved on to the A-7 Corsair. The paint scheme is what if unless there were experimental tests.

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

To Hobbes: this is "true What if" , because camouflage scheme is my work. I only use colours from SEA camouflage. And later I found, that similar colours used Singapore Air Force on theirs Skyhawks....

I hate Skyhawks !!!!!!   I was having a nice dawddle with my girl friend by the local river onto beautiful sunny afternoon. As we were busily engaged (you can guess what) , suddenly there came one flying by just above the water and well below the trees. The guys in the plane waved at us as they spead by. I shot them an "Italian road sign" in return.  Really took the romance from the moment ...    Not to mentioned ,it scared her and she jumped up when the plane rounded the first bend in the river. That was not a good thing for me ....

Sorry forgot, Great job on your build. I could see it in the skys over Viet Nam. But I still hate Skyhawks !!!

The USN did some cammo experiments during the Vietnam era, including Phantoms, Vigilantes, Intruders and Skyhawks:

They hardly did the USAF's SEA scheme, though, AFAIK most USN experiments included shades of green.

Nevertheless, very pretty idea, and great build. Looks very good!
