I'm wanting a 1/72 C-130J, and I think there is only the Italari kit avialable, not worried about the colour scheme as it will be in a 'Vitual Airline' scheme when I've done it. (If you don't know what I'm talking about take a look here :- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Virtual_airline)

They're available from Big H (but they only have one in stock!) and there's quite a number on eBay, both at silly cheap and silly expensive prices, but I thought I'd put the word out here first, just in case anyone is interested in a buy or trade. Best to be in the UK please as the shipping costs for such a big kit are bound to be exhorbitant.

That died a death then...........  ;D

On a similar subject, assuming I get hold of an Italeri 1/72 C-130J, AFAIK it's a standard length one, and I want to build a -30 longer version. Who does, or did, a conversion  for the -30 please? I know I've seen one somewhere but can't find it.

I can answer my own question above.

It's Flightpath who do the 1/72 -30 conversion, but bizarrely it's not mentioned on their site! Big H had three in stock, but only have two now....  ;D

I've got both the C-130J and -30 conversion (two actually) in the stash but not for sale I'm afraid Kit, I'm doing it as the Canadian CC-130J (all the CC-130J's are of the -30 series).  Of the -30 conversions I have, one is the Flightpath set and the other is an original DB Productions one, although I think they're one and the same.
If I'm not building models, I'm out riding my dirtbike

That's what I thought Robert, most of Flightpath's resin stuff came from DB originally, and bizarrely Dave Buttress still does the moulding!  ;D

I've got the conversion on order from Big H now, and I'll buy the cheapest Italeri 'J' I can find at the end of next week as I'm away until next Friday.
