F-20m USMC Tigershark

Here is a 1/48 Monogram F-20 that I have modded into a USMC what if. This as modded as if the F-20 was fielded and had a similar series of updates like modern attack aircraft. The twin cannons have been replaced by a single gau-12 25mm cannon like the AV-8b carries. A dorsal spine for more electronic gear. Laser designator war robbed from a Italeri tornado kit, as well as the refueling probe. The tail hook was beefied up. The glide slope light box was fabricated. The pics were taken before I added a catapult tow bar to the front gear, but that is the only thing not shown in the pics.

i may have to try the same myself with one of the 1/72 hasegawa kits and i have done a bahraini F-20B last
year which was purloined for display by the trader who'd sold me the resin F-5B two seater nose in the first
place for display on his stand at last years SMW at telford.
