Bus/ aircraft carrier

I came across this unusual vehicle.

A bus converted  to look something like an aircraft carrier bridge.

I've seen the lower, larger of the two piccies before somewhere. Maybe at the School of Aircraft Handling at RNAS Culdrose in the late 50s?

The description under the 2nd piccie describes pretty much what they were doing at the school.

it's very quirky

of course  if it was actually a bus aircraft carrier you'd have to have a routemaster with ZELL Capacity or bendy bus with   harrier and  ski jump

It's the Navy.... They were probably bored & it seemed like a good idea at the time.

That's roughly what I thought the bus was being used for although my idea was no where as eloquent
