TED is a nonprofit devoted to Ideas Worth Spreading. It started out (in 1984) as a conference bringing together people from three worlds: Technology, Entertainment, Design.

Brilliant! The general has put into eloquent words the purpose driving every thinking soldier, sailor & airman/woman.

I hope more people than we, who are mostly aware of these military aims, are exposed to this talk & these ideals.

Although I notice the important group missing..... Education! Without proper education none of the others can exist, let alone strive for higher goals.
