Is there a 2012 Ark Ship model kit available?

The Ark Ship from the disaster movie "2012" has to be one of the coolest looking vessels I have ever seen. Granted, it may be plain, smooth, and without much exterior detail, but I still like it nonetheless. ;) Has anybody decided to come out with a model kit of that ship? Either in resin, plastic, & any size?
I can just think of so much whiffery possibilities for a ship that size:
* Extremely huge cruise liner ship
* Some sort of huge Naval vessel (Amphibious assault vessel perhaps?)
* Heavily modify it for spacefaring purposes as a starship or space warship
..........etc., etc., etc.

Even if no kit exists, How would such an Ark vessel be built? I can only think of maybe using parts from a 1/350 sub or aircraft carrier kits for starters.
I found some nice 3D renderings on these sites here.

Modeling isn't just about how good the gluing or painting, etc. looks. It's also about how creative and imaginative you can be with a subject.
My modeling philosophy is: Don't build what everyone else has done. Build instead what nobody has seen or done before.

no kit as far as i know, but to scratch on you could start with a queen mary 2 for the lower hull and the build it up from there
Me, I'm dishonest, and you can always trust a dishonest man to be dishonest.
Honestly, it's the honest ones you have to watch out for!!!

Use a 1:350 carrier hull, or maybe the Revell 1:700 Colombo Express ('cos it's cheap, and bloody enormous) as a basis? Or find a cheap R/C fibreglass hull or similar. Then it's basically a box on top of that as far as I can see...

Oh, and I haven't seen the movie, but this told me all I need to know: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_jUP1k-PKh0  ;D

Anybody know what the dimensions of those 2012 movie ark ships might be? I've tried looking around the Net, but can't find anything. I would assume they'd be at least twice the length of a Nimitz class aircraft carrier. But I'm not sure what the width or height would be.

Shame no model kit exists of an Ark. 1/350 scale might be too big to produce, but 1/700 might be ok. Would love to get my hands on one. I'd modify an Ark into one hell of an amphibious assualt ship! Can you just imagine the amounts of troops and equipment one of those things could carry?

Can you imagine how much it would cost? Never mind fitting your entire army inside the thing, you'd have nothing left for the rest of the navy. And you'd just nuke the thing as soon as look at it - way too big and scary to deal with any other way!

Perhaps a floating holiday resort (like an enormous cruise ship, but with on-board theme parks and different zones that are themed?), or even the world's first floating, mobile city-state? Put parks and forest on the top surface, and have residential, factory, business etc. districts inside. Wind turbines and solar arrays to back up the (obviously) nuclear reactors that propel the thing, and scores of little tag-along vessels that move around in it's wake. Fishing trawlers, repair platforms, pleasure craft, Ark-to-shore vessels (no way the thing could ever fit into any natural harbour), and so on. Maybe a small airport, where VTOL transports and such can launch and recover?
