I've seen that fantastic train layout in Hamburg before but not this one

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Wow!!!  I'm speechless.  Thank you for sharing.

Fantastic. Must be as addictive watching that as it is watching the air traffic from a real and busy airport.

I was there last weekend - the 5th time to visit the MinaturWunderland. With the airport, they have exceeded everything they have build before. so if you have a chance to be in Hamburg, this is a place to visit.

Hint1: Buy tickets via the internet to prevdnt long waiting time
Hint2: Make a tour behind the scenes
Hint3: Alternativly - visit Wunderland by night, they only let 300 people in then and you have a much better chance to see all the details.

They now aquired a third floor in the building - so more room to build something new....

I'm a "Gound Pounder" at heart but I found the whole thing fasinating. I bilt model railroads but the scope of this is amazing! I noticed the ground vehicles had working turn indicators and brake lights even!
A third floor huh? I can see an Air Force base with maybe a Full Scramble being called once in a while up there.
But as what is already there?

The cars do not only have turn indicators. They "know" when they have to recharge and run to their charging staion automatically. In one of the town, you have a fuel station that always shows real fuel prices - and even can be found at the companys location finder. Fire engines have sirens and blinking lights, and the airport even has little arrival and departure screens. Plus a big one for visitors, so you can see which planes will arrive or departure soon.

You can clearly see the improvements in model building in the ten years the MiWuLa exists, however, the old parts are always updated to newer standards. And something for the ship fans - in the Skandinavia part, they have real water there big RC-ships are operated.

Afaik, the new areas to build are France, the Mediterranian, North Africa and England. So much to fill the new floor....
