There was the LVT(A)5 with Chafee turret instead of the M-8 howitzer one.  The Chaf turret would fit several other vehicles as an upgrade too.

While thinking about that ROCA experimental combination of M24 turret and modified M113 hull, I began to have this thought- could the M18 Hellcat's 76mm main gun have evolved into a lightweight version that can be used on the M24 by adopting the weight- and size-saving measures used by the 75mm gun M6?

Does the M24 store all its ammos in the hull, or are some of the shells stowed somewhere in the turret?

Anywho, looking at all M24 models, the Uruguayan military still uses up-gunned and new engined M24s. Would love to see some ideas and models being displayed.

Thanks Martin, if I could find affordable kits to bash, I will do it, did it in MS Paint already. I want to do it in 1/72 as I don't have the room for anything bigger. Cost is the key, I may have to look in the Trading Post for the parts.

Revell do a cheap M-24, its the old Matchbox kit. As for the Scorpion. Airfix.
And both are 1/76th scale

Hasegawa do the Chaffee in 72nd scale and Ace may do the Scimitar, i know they did the Scorpion but not sure about the Scimitar. Than again can't you use a Bradley Turret on the Chaffee ?

Thanks for that heads up Martin, I'll look into both, and even check out the LAV-25 turret. Might use that instead and mount the TOW system on it.

Thorvic, Ace did/does make a Scimitar, just expensive for just using the turret. The Bradley's turret is too tall for what I want, not that it wouldn't fit on the Chaffee.

The V-150 LAV 90mm gun turret would be cool too.
