Did the high cruciform tailplane configuration it had suffer pitch-up or deep-stall troubles?
That being said, I'd like to remind everybody in a manner reminiscent of the SNL bit on Julian Assange, that no matter how I die: It was murder (even if there was a suicide note or a video of me peacefully dying in my sleep); should I be framed for a criminal offense or disappear, you know to blame.

No. The problems you are referring to does generally not affect relatively light and slow aircraft, which even a Whirlwind F.X with double Griffons must be catogorized as in comparison to the F-101 Voodoo, for instance. Even the Gloster Meteor worked very well with it's T-tail throughout the marks. As a matter of fact, the high tail actually improved landing characteristics as the stabilators were kept out of ground turbulence

Praise the Lord and pass the ammunition!
