Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

QuoteI've always been fascinated by the British night bombers of the early 1930's
I absolutely agree. Aircrafts between WWs are just beauties.

And yours is not an exception.

I suppose the highest compliment I can give any Whiffer is to genuinely ask:
"So, is this a real historical subject or a speculative concept?"

I really can't tell on this one.  Absolutely believable.

QuoteLook at those HUGE spats!
Intimidating, aren't they? If the Ascot had been in service longer we never would have had to fight WWII, Hitler would have been scared stiff of those things!

That looks convincing!  Biggest spats you've ever done Bri???
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Wow thanks for the kind words gents! Coming from whiffers of your talent and skill I'm seriously humbled.

Unfortunately, the Ascot never really existed, but it's based on aircraft which did fly, namely the Hendon and Heyford. These are the largest spats I've ever used. They're really 1/48 scale. Glenn from Oz was most generous in sending them to me. I've still got a pair left I'm saving for another project. Right now, I'm taking a break from spats to give others room to submit entries for the I Love Spats! GB. I've been toiling away on a Douglas B-7 vacuform which has been fun but challenging.

Don't know how I missed this back in August.

It looks great and very convincing (well, except for the bit about the Bovril - - -) as an RAF Thirties bomber.
