Well so many ideas, so few kits of this bird, so have ordered another one, and maybe the one from mt local LMS might show up too. I am looking at cutting the cockpit of the one I have, and replacing it with the front end from an IL-28. Omit the gun turrets and hang either a very big bomb off it, or a couple of stand off missiles. The flying sub idea is still getting looked into too for SHADO for sure as it has the right shape for that to me.

I don't necessarily agree that it's small!! It's about Canberra size! . I'm not unduly concerned about the engine arrangement.It wouldn't be difficult to construct a shroud over the engines & build a new business end as if they were buried inside?

What I don't like is the front end!! Very World War 2! The RAF's first post war jet bomber based on this otherwise very advanced design would be nice I think.  Chris's idea about replacing the nose with that from an IL-28 is interesting.
