Is there any particular reason why the roundels  have a yellow surround?
I assume they are S.E.A.C type roundels, or did you use normal ones and

I went with what I had- yes left the center circle off.  I did not have a late pacific war SEAC roundel (dark blue circle and light blue center), so I just used the blue with the yellow surround (like what was used earlier in the pacific war) and left the red center circle off.  The kit comes with 3 markings: US, and two RAF (Blue/red, and yellow surrounding blue with a red center circle that is a separte decal.
