Speaking of old kits, the Airfix Fouga Magister is a pleasing little thing to put together. Only thing wrong with it is overdone rivets, and sandpaper and/or thick paint can cure that. Another one that everybody seems to love is the old Airfix P-80.

Agreed, got one in the stash, one of my all-time favourites. IIRC the F4D was great too - Oooops in danger of hijacking my own thread here... but you get the idea.
