Does anyone know what's going on here?

Thanks! And you're quite right, though I had thought of simply up sizing the rear wheels to more of a B17 diameter.

That would work

As to the concern of 3 empty wheel wells....I noticed a lack of ventral protection on the B25- perhaps a lower turret in the center nacelle of sorts? The poor guy would have to be on oxygen 100% of the time with the exhaust though!

How about A-26 style, remote turrets

Too late, I'd already been working on it-

The Monogram B25 comes with 2 sets of glass, so I took two top turrets and glued them together, after I added a seat and twin .50s ;D

I did remove the inboard single .50s, so with this turret the number is still 18, but the crew has been upped to 12.

In reviewing my last pic, it should be noted there are stops built into the guns to prevent interference from prop #2.

Congratulations! The relocated undercarriage seems a good point, like on the F-82 Twin-Mustang...

Man I would not want to be the ball turret gunner on this bird.  He'd lose his teeth and his sanity from all of that vibration after half a mission  ;D

Awesome job man and very well executed!  Those old kits clean up nicely don't they?
