I'm going to do an early version (with VVSS suspension) with the squared off back end, more of a wartime conversion/prototype, this later one with HVSS will become the standard production version. That is should I ever get time to do it...

You could do numerous versions using older low time or rebuilt hulls from earlier model Shermans. The Canadiens used the hulls from poorly armed RAM tanks for APCs during WW2. That was just a removal of the turret and the troops had to go over the side but it beat walking.

really like the idea, had one like it myself but on a cast hull with welded rear and vvss, just a simple gun pit with .50 nothing fancy.
