Well What if there was a Jet variant of the de havilland mosquito? Think if we replace the piston engines with jet engines, the mosquito would be faster. What do you say?

The Wooksta!

De Havilland were there well before you.  There's a three view of the proposed jet Mosquito, although it's not a Mosquito but the DH 102 development.

Good point

Captain Canada

A tail-dragging straight-winged prototype, and a swept wing outboard of the engines as a tricycle geared bird. That's what I say.

About half way down on theis page http://www.modelaircraftmagazine.com/full_site/frames/events/reviews/006.htm there is a jet Mosquito....and a jet Whirlwind.

I am so amazed to see both Jet powered Mosquito and the whirlwind

The Jet Mosquito model is based on an actual De Havilland drawing which had been discovered tucked away amongst some other De Havilland manuals which were totally non-related.

Not sure of the origins of the Whirlwind though ---

Awesome!

Both the Mosquito and Whirlwind are based upon manufacturers drawings of the designs as 'interim designs'. These, as well as a few other 'jet' conversions from other companies, were not truly intended as actual submitted proposals, more an exercise and stepping stone in the design of actual concepts for ministry approval

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.
