True.  That was sort of a placeholder for when I was still thinking I'd throw a Flanker and a Berkut in the blender.   :lol:

For an internal name, Sukhoi pilots seem to like bird names.  Su-27 was 'Crane'.   A lot of 90s projects were Eagles.  'Black Eagle' tank.  Sukhoi 'Golden Eagle'. 

Just decided to look up Eagles of the East.  Imperial Eagle?  Similar to Golden Eagle?  Anyone know if it has a colloquial name like 'Berkut?' 

Other suggestions?   :mellow:
