just to break the habbit, thought i'd continue with some 1/144, beginning with 3 MIG-29K's.

the basekit is a Revell 1/144 MIG-29A, cockpit and canopy are from a revell 1/144 F/A-18D.
i used plasticard to extend the nose by 6 milimeters, as the revell fulcrum is apparently underscaled.
New Flanders Navy markings still need to be applied and the tailhook (scratchbuild) needs more paint.
as for armament, i was thinking just 2 external fueltanks, as the KUB is a trainer version, might add anti-ship missiles on the outer pylons.

the 3 MIG's will be placed on the newly refurbished carrier "Jan Zonder Vrees" (ex-Belgian Navy carier "Dendermonde"), currently undergoing an upgrade and refit.

on the bench:

-all kinds of things.

Nice work Nils. The new cockpit/ canopy is a great idea.
