I had been reading Bodie's book "Thunderbolt" and how the XP-72 production contract called for the production P-72As to have the P-47N wing and fin fillet. Having the Koster XP-72 conversion in hand I made a trade(Thanks Snake) for an old Medallion P-47N conversion. Since both were made for the Monogram or Academy P-47s and I had lots of left over parts from these having done the XP-47H and XP-47J I set out to build the P-72A. Koster fuselage, prop and resin parts, TD P-47N resin cockpit, Medallion resin wings, fillet, tires and metal gear, Monogram stabs, Academy canopy and gear covers, scribed the raised lines on the stabs and vac parts( decent but not great) and voila,a P-72A Decals are loosely based on Pacific P-47Ns with some imagination. Some decals from razorback P-47 "Bonnie" a PYN-UP nose art from the PB4Y2. A fun little project and a nice diversion from more serious modeling.

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.
