Holy ! What an involved build. Defo worth saving the link ( might print the whole thread off at work as a referance-lots of technique to learn there ! )

Shame tho, that after all that work getting the shape right not much was put in to the finish to make it look more realistic.

Still, very cool and a great build !

Yes, amazing work there, that planking round the engine is awesome, but it does look a bit like a model at the end, whereas it could have been loads better at that scale.

I note he used the Hurricane's decals, it's Stanford-Tucks DT-A, but he got the codes the wrong way round on the starboard side!

[JMN mode off......]  ;D
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

Isn't it 1:32? Shame it was rushed for the deadline - I agree the finish could have been (should have been, given the amount of work put in) better.  It's very impressive either way.

It is 1/32 yes, one BIG model, but I'm writing as a hard-over 1/72 modeller.  ;D
