Good tip captain canada.  I wanted to do some more details on the air wing with some decals and roudels, and some ship details like weapons, antennas, portals etc. but the "get it done bug" hit me.  Perhaps a little more work down the road.

In want of hobby space!  The kitchen table is never stable.  Still managing to get some building done.

Very nice! I rather suspect, though, that she would meet with an "unfortunate accident" when adrift somewhere, and sink in deep water before the salvage could be carried out.

The accident might well be named Spearfish.

Ha! Agree.  Yes my back story stretches things, but salvage rights and law of the sea get pretty comlicated- and those South American Scrap merchants are a clever bunch!  Thanks.

Totally unrelated, but semi-kinda almost related. The Russian eyesore Lyubov Orlova that was rusting away in St.John's harbour was finally being removed for scrap....until...

To make a long story short :
-It was towed out to sea and lost it's tow
-Drifting too close to the Hibernia oil platform
-Attached to one of the powerful supply vessels and being brought back to St. John's
-Lost it's tow again and drifted into international 'not my problem' waters !

Sounds like a perfect oportunity for the new Poseidon to strut her stuff......

I like this one particular line in the article:
