The quad 'winders are brilliant! Not seen that idea before.

That's funny cos that's what I fitted to my Lightning,
Which looks something like this: (and that was in 2010ish)

Ought to finish it really, it's another one of those that just needs "that" final touch.

And I really ought to say that's a very fine looking Singaporean Lightning,
I think the Matchbox Lightning looks much more like a Lightning than the RoG one
Nice one

Keith
The British have raised their security level from "Miffed" to "Peeved". Soon though, security levels may be raised yet again to "Irritated" or even "A Bit Cross". Londoners have not been "A Bit Cross" since the Blitz in 1940 when tea supplies ran out for three weeks

The RoG Lightning is a re-pop of the Frog one, which in turn was a re-pop of the Hasegawa one AFAIK.

Splendid Luftwaffe F6 Keith!  ;D
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

That's interesting  - and shows how good ideas obviously prevail through space and time? Nice build, and idea, too!
And, yes, the Revell F.6 ist just the old FROG kit, reboxed. I also have the NOVO F.6 still in store, and it is rather poor, I suppose on the FROG kit's level. Not certain baiuzt the HAsegawa offering, but I might get one in a couple of days. The Matchbox kit is IMHO fine. Sure, it has raised panels and is a bit crude when you take a close look. But the parts actually fit together, and it is good value for the money - except for the decal sheet, though.

The Hasegawa-Frog-Novo-RoG Lightning are all the same kits.

OK, there's more than one mould, and you'll probably find the Hase versions are somewhat crisper, and the Novo ones are the opposite end of the moulding scale, but any part of one kit will fit with anyone from the others.
