Been out of the biz for awhile with a bad case of the negatives. Has anyone a 1/48 Airfix Canberra in their stash...I need to know in centimeters or millimeters how long the wing root is, front to back. Got an idea I'd like to work on .

It'll depend which Mark you're talking about, the PR9 has a much wider chord than the other Marks.

A fly in the ointment . I've just ordered a B-57 variant as it was cheap but also looks choka with spare bits and pieces. Any info on this variant?

The B-57 had a 'standard' Canberra wing, but with different engines and forward fuselage, plus a trick bomb-bay a la Buccaneer and side air brakes.

Extrapolating from a 1/72 scale kit it looks like the root wing chord would be 119.25 mm or 4.69" in real measurements.  ;D
